This grinder delivers up to 48% more power when paired with a DCB186 FLEXVOLT® battery vs. DCB184 18V battery. As a part of the PERFORM & PROTECT™ lineup, this tool comes equipped with KICKBACK BRAKE™ and the E-CLUTCH® System. This tool is a part of the expanding 18V system, and is compatible with all 18V batteries and chargers

• Variable speed functionality allows the user to adjust wheel speed for applications as needed
• E-CLUTCH® actives in less than a tenth of a second when a pinch/stall is detected, shutting down the motor
• Kickback Brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed. The electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder, and shut the grinder off
• Brake engages when trigger is released stopping the wheel quickly.
• Tool Connect™ Chip Ready: Chip pocket accepts Tool Connect™ Chip DCE042 and connects with Tool Connect™ Site Manager app for easy asset management on the jobsite. (DCE042 sold separately)
